Frenchfine is excited to join Miss World 2015 held in Sanya, China

It has been 30 years that Thailand has been sending beauty queens to compete with ladies from over 100 countries across the globe for the Miss World crown. In 1985, Parnlekha Wanmuang was the first Miss Thailand World to walk the stage of this international beauty pageant held in London. After her, many Thai beauties have shown the world the meaning of Thai grace.

In 2015, Frenchfine – Tanyachanok Moolnilta will represent Thailand at Miss World 2015 in Sanya- the Chinese Hawaii. She expressed her excitement at visiting the country she is well acquainted with, having graduated in Chinese Studies.

“I feel really happy that this year Miss World is being held in China because I know the country quite well. I went to language training camps in China a few times. I have learned about their language, traditions and way of life. I hope that I can help other contestants by helping them translate some words, giving them advice about buses, food and directions to the restroom. I think that the Thais and Chinese share many similarities. We are like sibling countries. I have been learning about Chinese people and their language since I was young so coming to China for the contest, I feel like I am in my other hometown. I’m not worried about anything. When I heard that the contest would be held in Sanya, I was even more excited because it is a city of my dreams. Sanya is a really beautiful city with modern architecture surrounded by white sand beaches and beautiful blue ocean. I believe that other contestants will be impressed by its beauty.

I will try my best to represent Thailand and try to win a prize for all Thai people.”
